Examining the Outcome of Osteosarcoma: 10-Year Experience in a Referral Center South of Iran

Background: Osteosarcoma is a primary and malignant bone tumor. Currently, using neoadjuvant chemotherapy, surgery, appropriate adjuvant long-term survival of more than 70% can be expected for patients affected by this disease. Therefore, the combination different treatment methods increases chances saving limb. Objectives: In study we intend to share our 10-year experience in management osteosarcoma Shiraz as referral center south Iran. Methods: retrospective cohort study, 56 with who were referred Chamran Namazi hospitals between 2008 2017, included. Age, sex, site involvement, presence metastasis, procedure, outcomes, time studied. Kaplan-Meier method was used analysis. Log rank test applied comparison according sex.
